The Raw Story » Conservative radio hosts gets waterboarded, and lasts six seconds before saying its torture

This sums up pretty much everything else I've heard on the matter -- waterboarding is, in fact, torture.

At the top of Maui

Rode to the top of Haleakala this morning. It's 10,000 feet of elevation gain over 36 miles. Took me a little under 5 hours.

American Christians Approve Of Torture? | The Last Days

A new poll by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life reveals that the more often Americans go to church, the more likely they are to support the torture of prisoners.

What in the world is going on?

According to the survey, 54 percent of Americans who attend church at least once per week said the use of torture against suspected terrorists is “often” or “sometimes” justified, while only 42 percent of Americans who “seldom or never” attend church services agreed with that viewpoint.

Wow.

So is that would Jesus do?

Torture helpless prisoners?

WTF, Jesus?!

Anyone who runs needs to step back and ask themselves why they're buying shoes that force them to strike on their heels. The idea of landing on your forefoot is foreign to most only because shoe companies are invested in your believing you run as the result of their technology and products; the longer you believe this the longer you'll buy their shoes...
